The Dish: Sushi Rolls to Satisfy

Patch tested out a couple of special rolls at Hoshi Sushi.

The Three Village area offers many choices for the sushi lover, including Tai Show North, Sushi Ichi, Domo Sushi, Kumo, and Hoshi Sushi. What's nice about that kind of selection is they each have a handful of unique rolls on the menu. Here's what we recently tried at Hoshi Sushi.

The Dish: "King of Rock n'" Roll ($8) and Spicy Girl roll ($8.50)

What's Inside: The "Spicy Girl" roll features spicy tuna, salmon, and yellowtail; the "King of Rock n'" roll consists of deep-fried salmon, white fish, tomago, asparagus, and tobiko.

Eat this Because: The "King of Rock n'" roll (get it? King of Rock and Roll?) is a crunchy, savory mouthful – in a good way – and the "Spicy Girl" roll has just enough kick in it to stand out from the rest.

Side Dish: The rolls were served with a portion of seaweed salad on the side, which normally runs you $4.50.
