Service Times for Kavazanjian Announced

East Setauket woman was killed in car wreck early Saturday morning in Connecticut.

A memorial service for Laura Kavazanjian, a 2002 graduate of Ward Melville who was killed in a car accident early Saturday morning, will be held on Saturday at Setauket Presbyterian Church on Caroline Avenue. The ceremony will begin at 11:30 a.m.

Prior to the service, the church will hold visitation hours on Friday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and again between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.

The East Setauket resident served as an elder at the church. The services will come days after Brown University, from where Kavazanjian graduated with a bachelor's degree in political science in 2006, held a candlelight vigil in her honor. She had attended commencement last week.
