Question of the Day: Will You Attend Tuesday's School Board Meeting?

With the budget approved, the Three Village BOE is soon in session.

The votes were tallied, and when they were all added up, 59 percent of Three Village voters chose to approve the $174.6 million budget for 2011-2012.

Nearly 6,200 residents cast their vote on Tuesday. However, community members are apt to vocalize their opinion with a potentially turbulent school year ahead.

So Patch asks, do you plan on attending Tuesday's 8 p.m. meeting at the North Country Adminstration Center? Let us know in the comments section below.

If the board trustees answer our questions.

Well Stephanie here's my take. Given the fact that all of the "union slate" will not officially be sworn it by Tues. maybe. I for one want an official copy of the "investigation" initiated by Diviney. So many are on this like "stink on sh*t" via other venues.

"Stephanie" the meeting is not a "public meeting" but a "meeting held in public". You do not have the right to ask questions and get answers. Sorry if that answer does not sit well with you, but if you want a seat at the table you'll have to run for a seat on the board (and not come in last)
:)

Actually we do have the right to get answers. Check out policy 1230 and 1230E on this link: http://threevillagecsd.org/boardofeducation/
Steve you should make comments that are substantiated with facts and stay away from the emotional jargon, it takes away from the professional nature of debate and your point.

Employment discrimination because of cultural characteristics related to race or ethnicity. TitleRead More VII prohibits employment discrimination against a person because of cultural characteristics often linked to race or ethnicity, such as a person’s name,(18) cultural dress and grooming practices,(19) or accent or manner of speech. For example, an employment decision based on a person having a so-called “Black accent,” or “sounding White,” violates Title VII if the accent or manner of speech does not materially interfere with the ability to perform job duties. Here’s the list of states that provide employment protections to smokers, according to the American Lung Association: ◾California ◾Colorado ◾Connecticut ◾District of Columbia ◾Illinois ◾Indiana ◾Kentucky ◾Louisiana ◾Maine ◾Minnesota ◾Mississippi ◾Missouri ◾Montana ◾Nevada ◾New Hampshire ◾New Jersey ◾New Mexico ◾New York ◾North Carolina ◾North Dakota ◾Oklahoma ◾Oregon ◾Rhode Island ◾South Carolina ◾South Dakota ◾Tennessee ◾Virginia ◾West Virginia ◾Wisconsin ◾Wyoming
