Question of the Day: Should Anthony Weiner Resign?

New York Congressman is taking a leave of absence; should it be permanent?

U.S. Congressman Anthony Weiner admitted to sending explicit photos via Twitter and carrying on online relationships despite being married. Despite mounting pressure from media and lawmakers from his own party, it seemed Weiner wouldn't flinch. He finally did this weekend stating that he's taking a "short leave of absence" from office.

Some would argue that, while what Weiner did was wrong, it shouldn't affect his candidacy for the position. Weiner was popular in November's vote, having won office over Bob Turner with 59 percent of the vote. That seems to have changed.

Does what an electee does during his personal life matter when his job is representing his constituents? Or is this grounds for dismissal?
