First and foremost, over Memorial Day Weekend, consider taking a moment to think about what it all means. Recognize those who made the ultimate sacrifice during wartime and consider thanking those who have served the country.

The weekend has also always felt like the beginning of summer, even if it's still more than three weeks away. School's almost out, the weather's generally good or better and families get together to celebrate just that – family.

The grills will be cooking up all kinds of concoctions. Monday's Memorial Day Parade attracts hundreds and hundreds of Three Villagers. It's even a time to talk about opening up the swimming pool, if it isn't already open.
