It sounds like such good news, but as one official (Cuomo maybe?) mentioned; Unless it is YOUR electric it really doesn't matter much. Here's hoping our community is up and running 100% TODAY.

Does that include the 3V school buildings?
Terri November 5, 2012 at 12:10 pm
Are all 3v schools open?

None of the Three Village schools are open today
Christine Sampson (Editor) November 5, 2012 at 01:41 pm
Three Village schools are closed to students today - staff reported for conference day, which was originally set for tomorrow. I know Arrowhead has power but the other building with power has not been specified. If the power is back on, the district has said school will be in session tomorrow during Election Day.

I'm glad the number of outages in the Three Villages is down. However, we have been without power since October 29th and were told by LIPA this morning that the restoration date for us is November 13th. This is outrageous!!

Justme.. Even if everyone voted no the raises were locked. By voting no programs would have beenRead More decimated more and more teachers given pink slips. The problem here is the BOE giving the union these contracts. It's time to STOP THE MADNESS!!
JJ Smith June 18, 2013 at 07:04 pm
And the candidate for the BOE ran unopposed. We have no to blame but ourselves.

Yes TC change is difficult but it has to start somewhere. What motivation does the BOE have toRead More change when we keep passing the budgets? Budgets have to fail, programs have to be cut before there will be any union negotiations. Many have to lose their jobs before they will allow their pay to be cut. Sounds harsh but it's reality. Our children will survive cuts, be educated and successful - even with less programs.
