For the first time, Mirabelle Restaurant and Mirabelle Tavern will host a buffet-style harvest pig roast on Friday.
Chef Guy Reuge has created a menu featuring suckling pig cooked on a spit, along with chorizo sausage, prawns with herbs and garlic, and Espelette-rub chicken. Side dishes such as iberico ham, cod brandade, roasted potatoes, corn salad, olives, bell pepper salad, and creamed cucumbers will be served. And for dessert: crème caramel, apple galette, cookies, and pears and plums in syrup.
The meal, which starts at 6:30 p.m., comes with unlimited wine, beer and sangria. Cost: $55 for adults and $20 for children. Call (631) 751-0555 for reservations.
