Local Cancer Treatment Center Affected by Medicare Cuts
North Shore Hematology Assoc. says it is losing money on chemotherapy treatments.
An East Setauket cancer treatment facility is among many that are being devastated by Medicare cuts, according to a News 12 report.
North Shore Hematology Assoc., located in East Setauket, has said it is losing money on certain expensive chemotherapy drugs, and said it is re-directing some of its patients to hospitals to receive those treatments.
