July 18: Learn How to Knit or Join a Choir

Here's what's happening Monday in Three Village.

A variety of events and classes are on deck for Monday at the Setauket Neighborhood House and the Emma S. Clark Memorial Library. Keep in mind that many of those events require registration, so call before you attend.

1. Ever wanted to learn how to knit? A at the Setauket Neighborhood House can help. And although it's summer, perhaps your knitting skills will be ready by the winter to knit cozy things to keep you warm.

2. As usual during the summer, the Emma S. Clark Memorial Library has a full lineup of children's events. But one in particular stands out: It's for kids ages 7–10 to learn communication skills without a cell phone or email.

3. A Sept. 11 memorial concert is planned for the tenth anniversary of the terrorist attacks, and a local choir is seeking singers for the concert. for details.
