July 14: Movie Madness, Turtle Time, Art Reception, and More

Here's what's happening Thursday in Three Village.

Thursday's "Five" includes a major motion picture release: "Harry Potter and the Midnight Crowd." Just kidding. We know it's not really called that, but we're guessing it may as well be.

1. Fans of Harry Potter will line up for midnight showings of part two of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows," the final installment of the film series, at the AMC Loews Stony Brook theater. Will you be among those fans? Click here for showtimes.

2. But if "Harry Potter and the Midnight Crowd" isn't your thing, there's a (title to be announced) at the Comsewogue Library at 2 p.m.

3. Learn about in a free event at 11 a.m. at the barn at Frank Melville Memorial Park.

4. A 6 p.m. is planned to mark the closing of the Joseph Reboli Wet Paint Festival at Gallery North. Artists' works from the en plein air painting event will be on display.

5. There's a new exhibit at the Ward Melville Heritage Organization's , on display from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday. For more details, check back later for an article on the new exhibit.
