#77 – Attend a Horse Show at Old Field Farm
This weekend features one of the farm's six annual horse shows.
Just across from West Meadow Beach is Old Field Farm, which once languished in disrepair but has been restored to its former glory with lush greens and grandstands.
Each year, Old Field Farm is the home of six horse shows, and one of them happens this weekend. Why not go and sample a piece of Long Island's equine culture and history?
The Suffolk Classic is set for July 8 through July 10 at the farm, which is located on West Meadow Road near West Meadow Beach. General admission to the show is free. For more information, visit the Old Field Farm website.
