#70 – Tour the Wetlands of Three Village
The Discovery Wetlands Cruise offers a close look at an 88-acre wetlands preserve.
Since 1995, the has offered the Discovery Wetlands Cruise, a 90-minute boat tour of the wetlands preserve of Stony Brook Harbor.
The tour boasts prime viewing of birds and the landscape, as well as lessons about the history of the area and wetlands ecology.
"The inspiration was to share our very important 88-acre wetlands preserve as a community and educational outreach program," a representative of the WMHO recently told Patch.

Note: Binoculars are recommended. Those attending the cruise should arrive 15 to 20 minutes early.
