#69 – Check Out an Outdoor Concert on the Green

During the months of July and August each year, the offers at the Stony Brook Village Center on Sunday evenings. In fact, 2011 marks the 31st year the concerts have taken place.

You can head down to the village center to enjoy various styles of music as the sun sets on Sundays (except in the case of inclement weather, at which point signs will be posted in the village center informing of the cancellation). Bring your own chairs or blankets to sit on, and don't forget you can arrive early to browse the shops or have ice cream at the .

The concert lineup this year has been expanded to include performances by the semifinalists of the competition.
