5 Things to Look Forward to in November

Hello, November. Here are five reasons we're excited you're here.

One of the current trending topics on Twitter is "Hello November," and with November beginning this week, here's a rundown of five things look forward to this month.

1. Vote on Nov. 8. A number of local political races affecting the Three Village community will be decided, so get out and vote.

2. Celebrate the Veterans. Each year, the Long Island State Veterans Home in Stony Brook celebrates its residents who have served in the military. You can celebrate too by donating or volunteering.
