5 Things to Do This Weekend

Patch picks for weekend activities.

On the table this weekend: multiple fundraisers, a child ID day, and potentially one of the biggest football games in Stony Brook history. Check out these events and more in our events calendar.

1. Head down to Murphy Junior High to catch put on by the faculty of the school district as a student scholarship fundraiser. Catch the show on Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m.

2. On Friday, support Save-a-Pet Animal Rescue by attending at Danford's in Port Jefferson at 7 p.m. The $35 ticket goes to support the local no-kill shelter.

3. On Saturday, Rite Aid in East Setauket is offering a , where kids under 14 can be fingerprinted and given ID cards. Stop by between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.
