• One Killed, One Injured in Commack House Fire. Authorities rushed to the fire that broke out at a Deepdale Drive home at around 1:30 p.m. The fire was placed under control by 4 p.m. The fire claimed the life of a man and injured another Friday afternoon, according to a fire official.
