This Week in Real Estate: Open Houses and Recent Home Sales

Local Realtors put area homes on display, and a look at recently sold homes in the Three Village area.

This week, the Multiple Service Listing of Long Island has posts for homes as cheap as $259,900 for a two-bedroom, two-bathroom condo. We also have three recently sold houses in Setauket and Stony Brook for prospective buyers to look at for an idea of the selling price of homes in the area.  

Saturday, January 15

  • 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.: 84 Erik Drive, Setauket, $419,000.  Four-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom condo in the Lakes development with custom molding, gourmet kitchen with professional appliances, and huge master suite with slate shower and vaulted ceilings.
  • 12 p.m. – 2 p.m.: 31 Branch Lane, E. Setauket, $399,900.  Four-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom hi ranch with updated kitchen and baths, large family room with skylights, in-ground pool, and private backyard.
  • 12 p.m. – 2 p.m.: 166 Knolls Drive, Stony Brook, $259,900.  Two-bedroom, two-bathroom condo with combined living and dining room, community in-ground pool, located in an over-55 community.
  • 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.: 192 Lower Sheep Pasture Road, E. Setauket, $479,000.  Four-bedroom, two-bathroom ranch with open floor plan, formal dining room, and 2.5-car garage .
  • 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.: 12 Bentley Lane, Stony Brook, $439,000.  Four-bedroom, two-bathroom Cape with oversized master suite and bedrooms, hi hats with vaulted ceilings, and large living room with a fireplace.

  • 2 p.m. – 4 p.m.: 11 Driftwood Lane, Setauket, $499,950.  Four-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom colonial with partial basement, three decks, and eight zones of in-ground sprinklers, all located on a cul-de-sac.

Recently Sold Homes

Nov. 5: 8 Westwood Avenue, Stony Brook. This four-bedroom, 2.5 bathroom Colonial built in 1980 sold for $450,000.

Dec. 31: 17 Erland Road, Stony Brook.  This two-bedroom, one-bathroom Cape with a home office and located on a cul-de-sac sold for $396,000. 

Jan. 7: 77 Main Street, Setauket.  This three-bedroom, two-bathroom Colonial built in 1886 and with a view of the water sold for $431,000.

New Listings

35 Hopewell Drive, Stony Brook. An updated four-bedroom, two-bathroom Cape listed at $359,946.

36 Sunflower Ridge Road, South Setauket. A three-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom Colonial built in 2001 listed at $400,000.
