The Dish: Jake Starr's Setauket Salad

This lightweight lunch will still satisfy.

We can't imagine that feeling you get after stuffing yourself with food is a popular one, and even more so during lunchtime when you've got to go back to work after you finish eating. This dish, found at Jake Starr Cafe in Stony Brook, is the perfect solution to that quandary.

The Dish: The Setauket Salad ($10.50)

What's Inside: A good-sized helping of a honey almond chicken salad. The chicken is slightly sweet with a bit of almond crunch atop a bed of field greens and tomatoes.

Eat This Because: It's satisfying, but you won't feel over-stuffed if you finish the whole thing. The salad comes with a choice of dressing, but the house balsamic is a must-try for fans of balsamic dressing.

Side Dish: For an appetizer, try the crab cakes ($9.50). You'll get an order of five savory crab cakes with a chipotle cream glaze. Order Jake Starr's homemade iced tea to go with the whole meal.
