Stony Brook's Cool Monkey Gets Nod Among Top Dessert Spots
Newsday rates 10 favorite spots on Long Island.
One local fro-yo spot is on Newsday's list of favorite frozen dessert cafés.
Cool Monkey, located in the Waldbaum's shopping center on Nesconset Highway, is among 10 Long Island spots on the list, published Wednesday. The café, which offers both frozen yogurt and ice cream as well as non-dairy treats, opened in July of 2012.
"Cool Monkey gives you the best of both worlds," Newsday writes.
