PHOTOS: Fans Rush Modell's for Giants Championship Gear

Immediately following the Super Bowl fans of the New York Giants swarm Modell's for t-shirts, hats, towels and foam fingers.

It didn't take long for New York Giants fans to get in their cars and head to the nearest sporting goods store for Super Bowl XLVI champions gear.

As time ran out and confetti fell on the heads of Eli Manning, Victor Cruz, Justin Tuck, Jason Pierre-Paul, Mario Manningham and the rest of the Giants, fans by the hundreds rushed to Modell's in Centereach for t-shirts, hats, towels and foam fingers, items that boldly proclaimed their team as Super Bowl XLVI champs.

A parking lot usually pitch black with all stores in the shopping center closed was lit by headlights of rows of cars and the interior lights of Modell's, which stayed open until 2 a.m. The line to check out spiraled to the center of the store with another line backed up to the parking lot of customers trying to get in.

For fans that missed out there's no need to worry as a store employee said the store will receive more Giants championship merchandise throughout the week.

Give me a break, this is just New York fans enjoying the win. Our hometown team did just win the Championship. I don't see anyone going crazy and killing anyone like the moron's after a recent soccer game.

Missed the deleted comment..... I think it is great. NY celebrating and generating business for our local Commack businesses. I heard it was insane in there and so much fun from a neighbor.

What's sad about it??? People happy their team won the Super Bowl? People spending money? Models making money? I guess we should all buy a $7 coffee at SB, while sucking up free Wi-fi for 8hrs writing our next screenplay.
