The medical practice provider operates several such clinics across Long Island. Its most recent clinic opening was in Great Neck and it also plans to open a West Islip location by year’s end.

According to Premier Care, its centers offer an alternative to an emergency room and are staffed with board-certified doctors specializing in emergency medicine. Centers provide digital x-ray, laboratory testing of various illnesses such as strep throat and the flu, and the equipment for treating common orthopedic injuries and wounds needing stitches.
