New Pet Supply Shop Coming to Three Village
Pet Valu is a Canadian chain that will lease space in South Setauket.
The former home of Blockbuster Video in South Setauket will soon be the new home of Pet Valu, a Canada-based specialty pet supplies retailer that likens itself to Whole Foods – but for pets.
According to an announcement from leasing agent Sabre Real Estate Group, the majority of Pet Valu's products are not sold in supermarkets or big-box pet stores. Pet Valu will also open locations in New Hyde Park and Oyster Bay.
Pet Valu will be the fifth pet store within close range: a Pets Warehouse store will be opening soon in East Setauket; Hamlet Pet Supply is located on Route 25A in Setauket; Feasts for Beasts is located on Main Street in East Setauket; and Petco has a location in Lake Grove.
