New Chinese Dumpling Eatery Coming to Stony Brook
Internal construction is under way at Coventry Commons location.
Red Tiger Chinese Restaurant is replacing Nasrin's Hair Salon, which closed several months ago, in the Coventry Commons shopping center at the corner of Route 347 and Stony Brook Road in Stony Brook.
According to a nearby shop owner, the new restaurant is slated to open later this month.
The eatery is one of several in the immediate area serving Asian cuisine: Kumo is a nearby sushi and hibachi restaurant; Ssambap Korean BBQ is located one shopping center west of Red Tiger; Hoshi Sushi is located just two doors down; and Lan Wo is a Chinese takeout place in the shopping center directly to the east across Stony Brook Road.
