Perfect for students and single adults, apartments and studios can be found in Three Village.

With the fall college semester right around the corner, and a fresh crop of newly minted graduates from this past spring, rental housing may be in demand in Three Village. It's certainly in supply, however, according to Internet searches for local apartments. If you're in the market for an apartment, read on!

South Setauket studio apartment

For $750 a month, a single occupant can enjoy a first floor apartment with utilities, wireless internet, and cable included. The studio features air conditioning and a walk-in closet, and is a short drive from Stony Brook University and Medical Center.

Stony Brook studio apartment

A studio apartment is available in one home on Christian Avenue for $850 per month, which includes heat, electric, and cable. Amenities include off-street parking, separate entrance, and close proximity to train station, village shops, and beach.

East Setauket basement apartment

For $1100 per month, a tenant here gets a large bedroom with a closet, full kitchen and bath, off-street parking, and all utilities.

One-bedroom Stony Brook apartment

A 400-square-foot apartment with carpeted living room and bedroom, new flooring in kitchen, and full bath for $1050 per month. Rent includes heat, electric and water. One-year lease required.

One-bedroom South Setauket apartment

For $900 per month, a renter here can enjoy off-street parking and close proximity to stores with utilities included.

Recently renovated Setauket apartment

Able to be configured as a two-bedroom apartment or one bedroom with a living room, this apartment is going for $1250 per month. Plenty of storage and off-street parking for one or two cars. Price includes all utilities.

Stony Brook one-bedroom cottage

A never-lived-in cottage in a park-like setting features high ceilings, granite countertops, and hardwood flooring for $1500. All utilities are included.

Stony Brook one-bedroom house

This rental home features a full basement and a living room which can function as a second bedroom. Amenities include a washer, dryer, and off-street parking. Its price, $1200 per month, excludes utilities.

I agree..maybe that is one of the reasons road pavement safety lines and striping esp. in the 3VRead More area are virtually non existent!! VERY DANGEROUS CONDITION that leaves the TOWN OF BROOKHAVEN liable involving accidents and fatalities. I think the new T.O.B. highway super, (D. L.) should make this a priority!

So, essentially that first residential home is being written off as the price of doing business.Read More There goes that property value. Other than as a professional residence, who would want to live by a driveway for that traffic? As for the entrance Village Automotive, that will bring even more traffic to an already busy intersection nearby. 25A is impassable/impossible in that area for large chunks of the day now.

The rezoning is for the acres of undeveloped residential land across from Ann Maries Farm stand,Read More extending down to the wooded area on 25A. A one way entrance would be placed by Village Automotive and a one way exit would come out on N. Country Rd. adjacent to the first residential house.
