Donut Time No Longer [Empty in Three Village]

Dunkin' Donuts leaves Three Village space that it occupied for 25 years.

Though  moved out of its Stony Brook space at 1015 Route 25A nearly a year ago, setting up shop just a few doors down at 1085 Route 25A, so far no new tenant has grabbed the space.

There have been a few inquiries from businesses considering leasing the space but nothing concrete yet, according to Kay Gemelas, the associate broker at Coldwell Banker Commercial in charge of listing the property.

A manager at Dunkin' Donuts, which had occupied the space for 25 years, said the owners moved the franchise because they needed a bigger space with better parking.

The 968-square-foot space comes with a 300-square-foot basement office that has a separate loading entrance. It shares a rear parking lot with , the Thai restaurant next door. The Town of Brookhaven has zoned the space as J-2, which means the types of businesses that can legally move in include dance and martial arts schools, bowling alleys, laundromats, retail stores, and other "neighborhood businesses."
