Cellphone Store Loses Service [Empty in Three Village]

Verizon store closed in November after three years in the space.

One of Three Village's two Verizon stores has closed its doors: while remains open at 4066 Nesconset Highway, the ZCom Wireless Verizon store at 1378 Route 25A closed in November after three years in business.

The space is a 733-square-foot storefront that would cost about $2,700 per month to lease, according to Nick Andreatis, regional vice president of leasing for Brixmor Properties. Brixmore owns the entire 77,500-square-foot shopping center at that site, which includes , , bakery, and more; Brixmore also owns the Waldbaums shopping center on Nesconset Highway in East Setauket, the HomeGoods shopping center in Port Jefferson Station, and 11 other Long Island properties.

The ideal tenant would lease the space for a minimum of three years, Andreatis said, adding that "we've had interest but nothing that's worth mentioning."
