Attillo's Grill Soon to Be Sweet Tomato
The St. James restaurant is closed for renovations.
A sign hung in the window of Attillo's Grill said the restaurant is under new management and is undergoing a makeover.
According to the sign, the popular Italian restaurant at 430 North Country Road, will be renamed Sweet Tomato Brick Oven Pizza and Grill. The eatery,which relocated to St. James from Smithtown last year, will be closed for three weeks as the new owners install new brick pizza ovens.
Workers could be seen at the restaurant on Friday preparing for the changes. There was no mention of the change on their website.
