Youth Theater Company Announces Fall Auditions

Fresh off its productions of "The Wizard of Oz" and "The Wizard of Oz: Young Performers' Edition," local youth theater company Productions Over the Rainbow has announced auditions for its fall productions.

According to the announcement, the POTR teen company will perform "9 to 5," and aspiring performers should come to the auditions prepared to sing 16 bars of a song from the show, and should wear comfortable clothing and shoes to learn and perform a dance number.

Auditions for "9 to 5" will be held Sept. 17 at 5:30 p.m. at Bates House in Setauket for ages 14 to 21.

The POTR kids' company will perform "How to Eat Like a Child, a Musical," in which all participants at the audition will be cast. Performers should come ready to sing a favorite Disney, Broadway or Nickelodeon song. The audition will be held Oct. 2 at 5:30 p.m. at Bates House for ages 5 to 16.
