'The Blitz,' 'Allez, Eddy!' Take Film Fest Audience Choice Awards
Announcing the winners of the Stony Brook Film Festival.
European filmmakers Gert Embrechts from Belgium, Ate de Jong from The Netherlands, and Georg Maas from Germany as well as American director John Burgess attended the closing night ceremony, which featured commentary and award presentation by film critic John Anderson.
"The kind of films that Alan [Inkles] programs at the film festival and the general program that we find at most theaters over the summer have really been going in two opposite directions," Anderson said.
