Media Gallery: Seiskaya Ballet Preps for "The Nutcracker" at Staller

Get a first hand look at the Seiskaya Ballet preparing for its annual production at The Staller Center.

Since 1995, The Seiskaya Ballet of St. James has performed lavish productions of The Nutcracker on the Main Stage at . Each year, Seiskaya's world-championship-level cast brings to life classic numbers such as "The Dance Of The Sugar Plum Fairies" and "The Famous Battle Scene."

According to owner/instructor Dimitri Papadakos, sixty five of the company's dancers have gone on to become professional dancers as adults, six of whom are members of the world reknowned American Ballet Company. All dancers of all ages are taught to know every part in the performance as well to help out during rehearsals. 

The Nutcracker will be showing from Dec. 17 through Dec. 20 only. Adult tickets are $40, children and seniors are $34, group rates are between $20-30. Catch one of these six performances: Friday at 7 p.m., Saturday at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., Sunday at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m., and Monday at 7:00 p.m. Visit www.nutcrackerballet.com for more information.
