"Flip it, Fold it, Figure it Out" Comes to Stony Brook

New exhibit at Educational and Cultural Center offers visitors the chance to play with math.

The Ward Melville Heritage Organization's Educational and Cultural Center premiered a new exhibit Tuesday entitled "Flip it, Fold it, Figure it Out," which will appear through September 20.

Visitors can play with mathematical concepts like patterns, shapes and sizes through activities with names like "Find the Beat," "Shapes in the Shadows," and "Measure Up."

The 1,500-square-foot exhibit is open seven days per week from 10:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m. Adult admission is $11, senior admission is $10, and admission for children under 12 is $9. Student group rates and unlimited family passes are also available.
