Event Spotlight: An Afternoon of Love Songs

Head over to the lobby of Stony Brook University Hospital to enjoy some love songs performed live.

Pianist Andy Flescher and vocalist Jamie Romeiser will return for another Thursday afternoon of live music in the lobby at Stony Brook University Hospital. This time around, they'll be performing love songs just in time for Valentine's Day.

The goal is to "bring love into the Stony Brook hospital community – that is, to provide some light, feathery solace for patients and their families," Flescher said.

The duo will perform 13 love songs between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m., including favorites like "Let's Stay Together" by Al Green, "Your Song" by Elton John, "Natural Woman" by Aretha Franklin, and "Stand by Me" by Ben King.
