Tellabration! Worldwide Benefit at the Long Island Museum in Stony Brook

  • Tellabration is an idea first put forth by storyteller J.G. "Paw-paw" Pinkerton in 1987. He dreamed of storytellers and listeners gathering in communities all over the nation--all over the world--to share stories...folktales, tales of myths and personal stories, stories from literature, tall tales, short tales, inspirational tales.  Stories not read aloud, but told directly to the listeners by individual storytellers.
  • Members of our local Storytelling group: Long Island Storytelling Network (LISN) (pronounced "listen") will be performing at The Long Island Museum.

Visit the Tellebration website for more information.
