STARRY NIGHT AT STALLER CENTER: NOVEMBER CONCERT

The performance schedule of the artists-in-residence at Stony Brook, the stars of the classical music world, is impressive. They are in concerts the world over, from Austria to New Zealand, Salzburg to Seoul, with major orchestras, and at renowned music festivals—Banff, Aspen, Tanglewood and Marlboro. As performers, they share their love of the finest music and assemble exciting ensembles for the Staller Center audience. They will be joined by rising stars who are career-bound professionals.

Join us for an evening of beautiful music specially chosen by the artistic director for "Starry Nights," Colin Carr. Among the artists will be Carol Wincenc, flute; Alan Kay, clarinet; Colin Carr, cello; Kurt Muroki, double bass; Kevin Loucks, piano; and Iryna Krechkovsky, violin. The program will include Beethoven Trio in B flat Major for Piano, Clarinet and Cello, Op. 11, Ravel Piano Trio, and works by Morton Gould, Villa Lobos, Philip Salathe, György Kurtag, and Charles Neidich.
