Stony Brook Long Island Children’s Hospital Holds “Soar for a Cure”. This is a free kite festival to help raise awareness about childhood cancer.
- Informational table on childhood cancer and the Sunrise Fund.
- Each child/young adult will receive a kite to fly, adults also we
lcome to fill the sky with kites of all colors during the festival. - Decorating kites and face painting.
- Live music
- Goodies include: popcorn, cotton candy and ice cream.
- Special guest appearances by Winnie the Pooh, Tigger and Elmo.
