Soar for a Cure: Free Kids Kite-Flying Festival

Stony Brook Long Island Children’s Hospital Holds “Soar for a Cure”.  This is a free kite festival to help raise awareness about childhood cancer. 

  • Informational table on childhood cancer and the Sunrise Fund. 
  • Each child/young adult will receive a kite to fly, adults also we
    lcome to fill the sky with kites of all colors during the festival. 
  • Decorating kites and face painting. 
  • Live music
  • Goodies include: popcorn, cotton candy and ice cream. 
  • Special guest appearances by Winnie the Pooh, Tigger and Elmo.
