Funkapplied is Long Island’s Pure Instrumental Funk Band! We bring our unique New Orleans-Style Jazz/Funk to every show. With a heavy hittin’ brass section, you will feel like you are parading down Bourbon Street. Our drums, bass, and organs, keep the rhythms bouncin’ and the crowds dancing. We play many of New Orleans top artists such as Galactic, Trombone Shorty, and Big Sam’s Funky Nation, as well as some classic funky groups like The Meters, The JB’s and Stevie Wonder. Throw in some pop charts by Chicago, Michael Jackson, and Peter Gabriel, and you are in for a funky good time! The energy we bring to every show is infectious and everybody will be movin’ to some of funkiest music Long Island has to offer.
