Don't Miss: Fiddle and Folk Festival at Benner's Farm on Sunday

A day of music and fun begins at 11 a.m.

As we enter the fall season – season synonymous with festivals – Benner's Farm has one to offer up on Sunday.

The historic, 15-acre farm will hold a "Fiddle and Folk" festival from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Performers include:

  • Brother Sun, a "trio that's all about harmony," according to the radio station WFUV.
  • The Stray Birds, who have "a real reverence for traditional folk, and a refreshing sense of intimacy to their original songs," according to the radio station WXPN.
  • Bob Westcott, with stories, songs and surprises.
  • Toby Walker, whose blues "are a flash of muscle and his gentle fingerstyle ballads speak poetry," according to Acoustic Live.
The festival is sponsored by Benner's Farm, Homestead Arts, the Greater Port Jefferson-Northern Brookhaven Arts Council and Stony Brook's WUSB radio station.
