Ward Melville alumnus and funny man Kevin James is set to perform two sets of stand-up comedy at the NYCB Theatre at Westbury on May 30.

Ward Melville alumnus and funny man Kevin James is set to perform two sets of stand-up comedy at  the NYCB Theatre at Westbury on May 30.

James, perhaps best known for his role in the television show King of Queens, graduated from Ward Melville in 1983.

Tickets range from $56.50 to $66.50, and showtimes are 7 p.m. and 9:45 p.m.

A talented stand-up comic, actor, producer, and co-writer, Kevin James is star of the hit TV show, The King of Queens (CBS), and the hit comedy motion pictures Here Comes The Boom (2012), Paul Blart: Mall Cop (2009) and Zookeeper (2011).  James also starred in Columbia Pictures’ blockbuster Grown Ups (2010) along with Adam Sandler, who James also worked with on I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry (2007).

Aside from his on-camera work, James’s voice may currently be heard in Hotel Transylvania for Sony Pictures Animation.
