It's back to business as usual in the new year in Three Village. You've got the chance to get involved in the community by attending meetings of a local civic assocation, the town board, the school board, and more.
1. Check out the monthly meeting of the Civic Association of the Setaukets and Stony Brook. Monday's meeting, set for 7:30 p.m. at Emma S. Clark Memorial Library, will feature a meet-and-greet with new Town of Brookhaven supervisor Ed Romaine.
2. The Town of Brookhaven's first full town board meeting is set for 5 p.m. at Town Hall on Tuesday.
3. The Three Village CSD Board of Education will meet for the first time in 2013 on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at the North Country Administration Center.
4. Check out meetings of the Ward Melville PTSA on Monday, or the Nassakeag PTA and Minnesauke PTA meetings on Wednesday.
5. Are you a military veteran, or is someone you love? On Thursday at 5:30 p.m., you can attend a seminar on veterans' benefits hosted by Burner, Smith and Associates.
