again held a dawn mass at , commencing at 5:30 a.m. Father Frank Pizzerelli celebrated the mass and was assisted by Pastor Bob Smith.
A large crowd of the faithful were greeted by a fire on the beach, which lite the way and provided some warmth. The dawn mass has been celebrated at West Meadow Beach for over 30 years and remains a tradition in the St James Parish.
After the gospel was proclaimed, the congregation retired to the Parish center to complete the mass, in keeping with the tradition of Easter Dawn mass.
