The Country House has some delicious desserts and bar menu items for under $20 -- and it's supposedly haunted, making it a great place for some October fun.

We took the kids pumpkin picking at Davis Peach Farm on 25A this weekend. They played in a fall themed playground for free and enjoyed a hay ride and picking out a family pumpkin, all for less than $20.

Budgets have to fail, programs have to be cut before there will be any union negotiations. Many have to lose their jobs before they will allow their pay to be cut. Sounds harsh but it's reality. Our children will survive cuts, be educated and successful - even with less programs.
