The Week Ahead: Fundraisers Set for Kiwanis, Suffolk County 4-H

1. On Monday, the Three Village Kiwanis Club will hold its annual golf outing at St. George's to raise money for its ongoing programs. The golf outing itself is sold out but according to its Facebook page, dinner tickets are still available for $65 each, starting with open bar at 4:30 p.m.

2. If you're planning on dining out on Monday, see the attached flier for one idea: Applebee's in nearby Lake Grove is holding a fundraiser to benefit Suffolk County 4-H from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

3. Also on Monday, Brookhaven town will hold a public hearing at the planning board meeting at 4 p.m. regarding an expansion proposal at Jefferson's Ferry Retirement Community in which additional administrative office space and an employee lounge will be considered.

4. The Brookhaven town board will meet on Tuesday at 5 p.m.
