Stony Brook students can now access the new Sunday service on Suffolk County Transit's 3D Route by showing their student ID.

Stony Brook University students can now hop the bus to local dining and shopping thanks to an expansion of the University’s transportation partnership with Suffolk County.

A student ID is all that is needed to access the new Sunday service on Suffolk County Transit’s 3D route, with services from the Stony Brook campus to Smith Haven Mall. Port Jefferson Village and points in between starting at 7:20 a.m. The last campus pick up is on Sunday’s at 6:30 p.m.

Suffolk County Transit and Stony Brook University started this partnership in May of 2012 after students on the Transportation & Parking Student Advisory Committee requested increased off-campus transportation.
