Stony Brook Long Island Children's Hospital has been the recipient of a handful of donations lately, including a gift of and a gift of . On Wednesday, the hospital announced a gift of $35,000 from the Day One Foundation, which launched a golf outing fundraiser in 2012 to benefit the children's hospital. An anonymous donor will match the gift to double its impact on the institution to $70,000.

As for the entrance Village Automotive, that will bring even more traffic to an already busy intersection nearby. 25A is impassable/impossible in that area for large chunks of the day now.

The problem is not the lack of supplies, but a lack of personal responsibility. But if we send in enough supplies each year for ten or fifteen students, then we might be able to avoid the underlying problem.

It is beyond reasonable to have salaries at that level and multiple administrators and assistants and directors and assistant directors and chairman etc. Teachers earn their fair share!
