Shelter Pet of the Week: Daisy Plays Well With Others

This lab mix is full of energy and affection.

Daisy is a two-year-old lab-mix staying at Save-a-Pet in Port Jefferson Station waiting for a loving family to give her a home.

When Daisy was rescued, her left front leg was broken from being hit by a vehicle. The leg was amputated about a month ago and she has completely healed, running and jumping around happy as can be.

She is full of energy and affection, plays well with children, and gets along great with other dogs. She is already trained to keep her cage clean, so she should have no problem transitioning into a house.
