Shelter Pet of the Week: Bring Home Something Precious

This week, come by Save-a-Pet Animal Rescue in Port Jefferson Station to meet your potential new bubbly companion, Precious.

Precious is a four-year-old pug and cocker spaniel mix who is friendly and quick to warm up to new people. According to shelter volunteers, she is playful and funny, and is especially content following people around. If you like to go for short walks, Precious is your girl, as she walks nicely by your side. Noise will not be an issue with this dog, as she is not a barker, but instead is quiet and mellow. She also gets along well with other dogs.

If you are looking to potentially get two dogs, Precious lived with her buddy, Ben, before both dogs were dropped off at the shelter. They get along fabulously and would be happy getting to continue to live together.

Precious is housetrained, microchipped, spayed, and up-to-date on all of her routine shots.
