In December, we brought you the story of a local resident who pitched in on a campaign by the group Sandy Help LB to bring Christmas cheer to those affected by Hurricane Sandy in Long Beach. Now, Tracey Bogush reports back on the results: "For Operation Sandy Claus we managed to collect 395 stuffed to the MAX stockings and $450 in gift cards," she wrote in an email to Patch. "We had donations sent from Queens and as far as California. ... Cannot tell you how happy, thrilled and grateful they were for all the donations!"

Other than as a professional residence, who would want to live by a driveway for that traffic? As for the entrance Village Automotive, that will bring even more traffic to an already busy intersection nearby. 25A is impassable/impossible in that area for large chunks of the day now.

The rezoning is for the acres of undeveloped residential land across from Ann Maries Farm stand,…Read More extending down to the wooded area on 25A. A one way entrance would be placed by Village Automotive and a one way exit would come out on N. Country Rd. adjacent to the first residential house.
