Photo of the Day: A Moment of Zen at West Meadow
One, possibly two individuals create cairns on a regular basis at the beach.
Three Village resident Pam Botway snapped this shot of a cairn at West Meadow Beach over the weekend. Naturalist Eileen Gerle said they pop up on the beach frequently, and that there may actually be two people responsible for the cairns. "People do those on mountain trails, but these guys are doing them more like sculptures here," Gerle said.
