Nov. 23: Emergency Drill, Opera Scenes, Holiday Coverage Kickoff

Just like the rest of the community, Patch is gearing up for the holiday season. Included in today's "5 Things" – holiday coverage kickoff, an emergency drill, one teen community event, one cultural event, and more.

1. Three Village schools will execute an emergency dismissal drill in which 15- minute early dismissal will take place. The district's emergency plan can be viewed here. Call your child's school for more information.

2. Teens interested in getting involved can attend a meeting of the Teen Advisory Group at at 4:30 p.m. in the library's community room.

3. Enjoy a free program of selected scenes from French and German operas performed live. Stony Brook Opera happens at 8 p.m. at the .

4. Highlights of Tuesday's event lineup at the Setauket Neighborhood House include yoga at 8 a.m., the Three Village Garden Club at 9:30 a.m., and aerobic dance at 4 p.m.
