May 4: Catch a Musical Revue or Register to Vote

Either is music to the community's ears.

Three Village is in the thick of school budget season. We'll keep bringing you updates, but in the mean time, here are a few other ways to keep yourself occupied in between school events.

1. Our blogging platform is here. If you have something to say, you can say it in your own blog on Three Village Patch. Do you enjoy gardening, music, sports, history – or just about any other topic you can think of? Email the editor to find out how to get involved.

2. will fill the library community room with song beginning at 12:30 p.m. Seniors may especially enjoy this one. The program is free, but registration is required. Call the library at 631-941-4080 for more information.

3. Now that many community members have had a chance to meet the eight school board candidates and hear their ideas for the district, we'd like to hear the residents' thoughts. What ideas do you have that no one's talking about? What direction would you like to see the district take? Send us a letter to the editor.

4. Speaking of school board candidates, Wednesday is Voter Registration Day at Ward Melville High School from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Get all your ducks in order before the vote on May 17.
